1. Dilbar: about $750 million
Dilbar is 156 metres long and was delivered by the German yard Lürssen in 2016. By gross tonnage it is one of the largest motor yachts ever built, and it is reported to have one of the largest indoor swimming pools fitted to a yacht.

2. Eclipse: about $700 million
Eclipse is a 162.5 metre yacht built by Blohm+Voss and delivered in 2010. It is reported to belong to Roman Abramovich.
Its build cost is reported at about $700 million. Some older reports put the figure above $1 billion, but these are not backed by any published record. Eclipse held the title of the world’s longest private yacht until Azzam was delivered in 2013.
3. Azzam: about $600 million
At 180 metres, Azzam is the longest private motor yacht in the world. Lürssen delivered it in 2013 after about four years of work.
It is reported to belong to the Abu Dhabi ruling family. Its reported build cost of about $600 million covers a design that puts speed first, and the yacht is reported to reach more than 30 knots.
4. Blue: about $600 million
Blue is a 160 metre Lürssen yacht delivered in 2022. It is reported to belong to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE and owner of Manchester City.
Its reported build cost is about $600 million. Sheikh Mansour previously owned Topaz, which appeared at number five on the earlier version of this list.
5. Solaris: about $600 million
Solaris is a 140 metre explorer yacht built by Lloyd Werft in Germany and delivered in 2021. It is built for long voyages, including cold-water cruising.
It is reported to belong to Roman Abramovich, making him the only person on this list linked to two yachts. Its reported build cost is about $600 million.
6. Sailing Yacht A: about $577 million
At 142.8 metres, Sailing Yacht A is one of the largest sailing yachts in the world. It was built by Nobiskrug in Germany and delivered in 2017.
Italian authorities seized it in 2022 because of its link to Andrey Melnichenko. A court valuation put it at about $577 million. Melnichenko is also linked to Motor Yacht A, a 119 metre yacht from 2008 that appeared on the earlier version of this list.
7. Scheherazade: about $510 million
Scheherazade is a 140 metre Lürssen yacht delivered in 2020. Italian authorities froze it in 2022.
Its owner has not been officially named. Reports linking it to Vladimir Putin have never been confirmed. A frozen-asset valuation reported in the press put it at about $510 million.
8. Koru: about $500 million
Koru is a 127 metre sailing yacht built by Oceanco in the Netherlands and delivered in 2023. It belongs to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and comes with a separate support vessel called Abeona.
Its reported build cost is about $500 million. Abeona carries extra equipment and crew, so the main yacht can keep its decks clear.
9. Nord: about $500 million
Nord is a 142 metre Lürssen yacht delivered in 2021. It is reported to belong to Russian steel billionaire Alexei Mordashov.
According to press reports, the yacht left European waters in 2022 before European sanctions could be applied to it. Its build cost is reported at about $500 million.
10. Serene: about $458 million
Serene is a 134 metre yacht built by Fincantieri in Italy and delivered in 2011 for Russian businessman Yuri Shefler.
In 2015 it was sold for a reported $458 million to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It is one of the few yachts on this list with a reported completed sale rather than a build cost estimate.
Why History Supreme and Streets of Monaco are not on this list
History Supreme is often described as a $4.8 billion yacht covered in gold and platinum. No shipyard has said it built the yacht, no broker has listed it and no buyer has been confirmed. We have left it out.
Streets of Monaco was a 2013 design concept with a $1 billion price tag. It was never built. The seized Amadea, a 106 metre Lürssen yacht, was auctioned by the US government in September 2025, but the final price was not disclosed, according to SuperyachtNews. We used the most reliable published figure for each yacht: a court valuation, a reported sale price or a reported build cost. Where reports differ, we used the more conservative figure. All values are estimates.
Running costs are not included. A common rule of thumb in the industry is that a superyacht costs about 10 per cent of its value each year to crew, fuel and maintain.
