Amelie Voigt Trejes is one of several grandchildren of a co-founder of WEG, the Brazilian maker of electric motors and industrial equipment. Her fortune comes from an inherited stake in the listed company.
At 20, she shares the title of the world’s youngest billionaire with Johannes von Baumbach. Her siblings Pedro and Felipe also appear on the Forbes list with about $1.1 billion each.
2. Johannes von Baumbach: $6.6 billion
Johannes von Baumbach is an heir to Boehringer Ingelheim, the German drugmaker that is one of the largest privately owned pharmaceutical companies in the world. The company is still controlled by its founding families.
Forbes estimated his fortune at $5.8 billion in December 2025 and $6.6 billion by March 2026, which makes him by far the richest of the 20-year-olds.
3. Clemente Del Vecchio: $6.8 billion

Clemente Del Vecchio is one of the children of Leonardo Del Vecchio, the founder of Luxottica, who died in 2022. His fortune comes from a share of Delfin, the family holding company that owns a large stake in EssilorLuxottica, the maker of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
His brother Luca Del Vecchio, 24, is also on the list with $6.8 billion.
4. Lívia Voigt de Assis: $1.4 billion
Lívia Voigt de Assis was named the world’s youngest billionaire by Forbes in 2024, when she was 19. Like her cousins, she owns an inherited stake in WEG.
She has since been overtaken by younger family members, but at 21 she remains in the top five.
5. Surya Midha: $2.2 billion
Surya Midha is the chairman of Mercor, an AI recruiting start-up he co-founded with two friends. Mercor was valued at $10 billion in October 2025, which lifted all three founders into billionaire status.
Forbes says Midha is the youngest of the three by about two months. Together they broke Mark Zuckerberg’s record as the youngest self-made billionaires, which had stood for 17 years.
6. Brendan Foody: $2.2 billion
Brendan Foody is Mercor’s chief executive. The company matches AI labs and businesses with experts who help train and test AI models, a market that grew quickly through 2025.
His $2.2 billion estimate is based on his stake in the company at its last funding round.
7. Adarsh Hiremath: $2.2 billion
Adarsh Hiremath is Mercor’s chief technology officer and the third co-founder. Like Midha and Foody, he was 22 when Forbes valued his stake at $2.2 billion.
Because their wealth is tied to a private company, it is based on funding round valuations and could rise or fall with the next round.
8. Kim Jung-youn: $1.7 billion

Kim Jung-youn is a daughter of the late Kim Jung-ju, who died in 2022 and founded the South Korean video game company Nexon. She inherited part of the family’s holding in the company.
Her sister Kim Jung-min, 24, is also among the billionaires under 30.
9. Kevin David Lehmann: $4.9 billion
Kevin David Lehmann topped this list in 2021, when he was 18. He owns a 50% stake in dm-drogerie markt, the German drugstore chain, which his father Günther Lehmann transferred to him.
His estimated fortune has grown from $3.3 billion in 2021 to $4.9 billion in 2026, according to Forbes.
10. Pedro Voigt Trejes: $1.1 billion
Pedro Voigt Trejes is the brother of Amelie and Felipe Voigt Trejes, and his fortune also comes from WEG. Felipe, also 23, has the same $1.1 billion estimate.
The WEG family accounts for several places in the top 10, which shows how one listed company can create many young billionaires once shares pass to a new generation.
How we ranked these
We ranked billionaires by age, youngest first, using the Forbes 2026 billionaires list with net worths as of 1 March 2026. Where two people share an age, we followed the order used in published Forbes-based rankings.
Several names from the 2021 version of this page are no longer under 30, and Sam Bankman-Fried lost his fortune after the collapse of FTX in 2022. He was later convicted of fraud. Other self-made founders under 30 include Alexandr Wang of Scale AI ($3.2 billion), Shayne Coplan of Polymarket ($1 billion) and Kalshi co-founder Luana Lopes Lara ($1.3 billion), the youngest self-made woman billionaire.
